Canine Good Citizen Certification Testing

AKC Judge Michael Vorkapich will be at the Farm to provide Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing in the morning (9am until noon) . Sign up for a time slot on SignUp Genius by clicking here. Cost for CGC: $25 per dog.

All dogs participating must be current on rabies and all handlers must sign a hold harmless agreement. To earn a title your dog will need to have an AKC, PAL or Canine Parntners number. Application for this number can be made at the same time as applying for your title. Title will require additional paperwork and fee to the American Kennel Club.

Dogs must work on leash and collar or body harness. Body harness must not restrict the dog's movement. No flexi, pinch, choke, slip, e-collar, martingales, head halter or no-pull harness may be used.

For the Canine Good Citizen, bring a brush or comb that your dog is comfortable with. The CGC test takes about 15 minutes to complete.

For trick dog, if you are using props, make sure you bring them so you can be sure that you can complete your trick. We will have a limited supply of props on hand. (ie some agility equipment, a box, a crate, etc)
