Lizzy will be hosting NASDA practice sessions on all of the different NASDA classes (Trailing & Locating, Urban Locating and Urban Challenges where your dogs find a live rat in a quarry box, Shed Dog where your dog finds a shed antler and Lost Item recovery where your dog will be asked to find something you lost (wallet, keys, soft clothing item). All of these classes work on your dog’s ability to find something in a “natural “ environment - be it in a field or in a built up area of a barn, house or other area frequented by people. In the “rat classes” the quarry box may be on the ground or up in a tree, tied to a fence etc. Three teams per 30 minute slot. The cost is $30 per team. Click here for the sign up sheetd. The three teams will have three hides each during their 30 minute blocked time. There will be an opportunity to work on your own with a bonus hide of either Lost Item Recovery or Shed Dog either before or after their blocked time.
