AKC Farm Dog Certification trials for November have been approved by AKC. If you have a qualifying run in both trials (under two separate judges), you can gain your AKC Title. Can you and your dog successfully navigate through typical farm sounds, sights , and critters? Ten stations must be negotiated on loose leash - examples include politely going through gates, dealing with farm noises, walking around farm related obstacles, ignoring another dog walking by, getting up on straw bales and submitting to a little grooming session by the dog’s handler are all parts of the actual certification.
